It’s Wine Award season which means we get to talk about wine even more than we usually do (which is a lot) and the biggest and best have recently been announced – the Decanter World Wine awards! Think of them like the Oscars but with less actors but probably just as many beverages.
Decanter magazine itself is sold worldwide so it’s only fitting that they’re annual awards accept over 15,000 entries from all over; from Bordeaux to the Barossa Valley and everywhere in between. Founded in 2004, the DWWA is the largest wine competition in the world, judged by an array of expert wine lovers, makers and tasters.
Here at J&C Kenny we of course take a vested interest to see if any of our favourite wines make the cut and we’re delighted to say that a lot of them did, with three Gold winners in our catalogue!
